The icee machine is a big hit again!
Icee syrup recipee:
boil
1 1/2 cups water
and
1 1/2 cups sugar
for 1 min at a rolling boil.
Add 2 packages of cool-aid mix
stir
Let cool
Yummy!
Notice Cedar is absent from the picture. Not to worry, he get plenty of icees. He is at basketball camp this week.

So do you run it through an actual Icee machine or does it just set up into Icee slush as it cools in the refrigerator? Looks like a very fun treat for summer.
We love our slushy maker too. I have never made my own syrup but it's cool to know that that is an option. We buy a one gallon jug of syrup at a restaurant supply store for about $7 and it lasts almost a year and makes tons of icees and saves me from the ice cream truck.
